National IP&R is a process that the Australian community can use to collaborate efficiently to design their preferred future as a nation, express that in a coherent Vision, build an integrated plan together to make it a reality, and keep track of progress or failure. It is an essential tool in participatory democracy.

 

Uniquely, National IP&R offers citizens of democratic countries the chance to collaborate nationally on selection of the targets and strategies that are essential to the long term sustainability of their society, environment, economy and fair governance.

 

National IP&R can effectively ensure that the work of local communities to strengthen their prospects of a decent quality of life is not undermined by bad actions and actors in national politics and policy. It aims to shift the focus on national governments from the short term advantages sought by vested interests and privileged lobbyists and donors to doing what's necessary to deliver longer term sustainability in the wider public interest.
